One of the tracks that didn’t make G-Eazy’s album ‘These Things Happen’ is in my opinion one of his strongest. Theres something pretty haunting and depressing about this track that makes it quite addictive.

MNEK – Never Leave You (Lumidee Refix)

The description of MNEK’s latest refix reads as “Did this for lolz.” Not being funny, but I’m pretty sure that there are millions of artists out there that wish that their material was even half as good as something MNEK ‘does for lolz”. Lumidee’s ‘Never Leave’ is nearly 11 years old (SHIT, REALLY?!) and MNEK’s magic touch once again makes it sound fresher than fresh.

A well deserved place on the list of artists 1Xtra predicts will have a bright 2014 is only the latest addition to Elli’s recent string of success. Following tours with Chase & Status, a well received EP and a MOBO nomination, Elli is set to be one to watch this year.
