Watching the buzz behind Years & Years finally pick up as they deserve it to gives me an unexplainable feeling of joy. Every track they’ve put out there so far has been fresh and exciting and their latest track ‘Take Shelter’ is no different.

All those that speculated that Kiesza could end up being a one hit wonder after the success of ‘Hideaway’ can now eat their words please. ‘Giant In My Heart’ is a punchy and meaningful follow up which showcases her incredible vocal as spectacularly as its predecessor. In short, its a banger.

I think I might have found my song of the summer. The debut single from Southampton producer The Dealer features the vocals of Damon C Scott who you’ll recognise from Storm Queen’s massive hit ‘Look Right Through’ and its incredibly infectious. If this doesn’t go off in Ibiza in the next couple of months I’ll eat my passport.

You can’t get much bigger than combining Pharrell and Disclosure really can you? Bringing the classic right up to date with a beat for the dancefloors, the Disclosure boys have pulled it out the bag once again.

‘Can’t Do Without You’ is the lead track from Caribou’s soon to be released, sixth studio album and I think it just made my heart melt. Its tender, its slow building and the single vocal line is simple but heart breaking. If you don’t feel giddy as the track peaks then I’m sorry, but your heart is made of stone.

This may be the track that blows DC producer out of the water. With help on vocals from Angel Haze who is proving herself as adaptable as a featured artist on pretty much every genre of music right now, this track has more punch than a university house party.

Debuted by Pete Tong on Radio 1 during Big Weekend in Glasgow this is a massive remix which not only brings the welcome return of Basement Jaxx but also reminds of quite how much of a master of his art Toolroom Records owner Mark Knight really is.
